Medical Microneedling with PRP/PRF

Firmer, Smoother, and Vibrant Skin From the Inside Out

How it Works

Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a non-invasive procedure designed to stimulate your body’s natural ability to generate collagen, elastin and other building blocks of healthy skin. By creating controlled micro injuries at very specific depths in the skin, microneedling jump-starts your body’s natural healing process, allowing your skin to gain strength and look younger and healthier.

Microneedling with PRP-Platelet Rich Plasma or PRF-Platelet Rich Fibrin rejuvenates the skin on several levels by stimulating cell renewal and triggering the production of growth factors, collagen and elastin.

Prior to your Microneedling treatment, a small sample of blood is collected to prepare your PRP/PRF serum. The blood sample is spun in a centrifuge, isolating the white blood cells and platelets to create a nutrient rich concentrate. During your procedure, the PRP/PRF concentrate will be applied topically, allowing the nutrient rich serum to penetrate deep into the layers of your skin via the micro channels created by the microneedling device.

Questions?

What's the Difference between PRP and PRF?

PRP and PRF are both derived from your own blood, which is placed in a centrifuge to separate out the various components. Both PRF and PRP contain platelets and growth factors that stimulate the repair and renewal of your skin. However, PRF does not contain an anticoagulant and also contains Fibrin, which provides scaffolding that supports the blood cells, activates clotting, and promotes the release of growth factors. For these reasons, growth factors in PRP and PRF remain active for several days, allowing the skin to fully utilize all the healing properties of the rejuvenating serum.

How soon will I see results?

New skin tissue and blood vessels form over the next 4-8 weeks that are rich in collagen and elastin proteins. Continued improvements can be seen over time based on the body’s collagen production. The overall result is smoother, firmer, and more radiant skin.

Will I need time to recover?

Your body starts recovering from the treatment immediately after it’s finished. Treated areas may appear red for a few days after the procedure but this will go away naturally and quickly. PRP and PRF treatments are leading technologies in the evolution of skin and hair rejuvenation.
